Bringing together Apples and Pears' wonderful vintage upstairs bar and the uber cool, vaulted brick ceilings of our downstairs bar space, the hire of the whole venue is perfect for a larger celebration, whether it be for work or leisure.


Dirty Martini, located on Covent Garden's famous piazza, has established itself as a stylish hang out for party goers, after work drinkers and late night revellers alike. With a distinctly New York feel, the bar boasts expert bar staff able to mix whatever cocktail your heart desires. There is also an extensive drinks menu with Champagnes, wines, beers and spirits across our bars. To hire the full venue works on a minimum spend basis.


The Lucky Pig combines classic cocktails with old-fashioned glamour to provide one of London's most enjoyable basement bars. It is available for hire for almost any event including parties, live music, corporate events, conferences and meetings, photography and film shoots, and much more. It can be hired during the day or on selected evenings. Boasting an experienced events team, The Lucky Pig has hosted events for a range of satisfied private and corporate clients.


The Whole Venue is available for exclusive hire and is the ideal place to throw a colourful, lively party that your guests won't forget. The bright, vibrant areas are perfect for entertaining and for private parties of all kinds, whether that be a birthday, Christmas or just celebrating for the sake of it. There is a dancefloor, DJ Booth and no hire fee although a minimum spend applies.

The Hat & Tun Farringdon

The entire Hat & Tun can be exclusively hired as an excellent private venue for birthday parties, engagement parties, office parties & wedding receptions. Soak up our traditional pub atmosphere where we can supply exciting cocktail concoctions, British Ales and hand picked wines to accompany carefully selected, seasonally updated private dinners, lunches and drinks receptions. Utilise the in-house events team who will ensure your event fulfils all your expectations. DJs and equipment are available to make the most of our 1am license. There are no hire fees, just a reasonable minimum spend.


Sealife London Aquarium, is a great back drop to any standing or seated event with a walk over the shark tank and a tunnel through the Pacific Ocean. For a truly London experience we can include a London Eye experience as your curtain raiser to your party or event. The attraction located next to the Eye is really in the heart of the city with a view over to the Palace of Westminster as you arrive and depart. The Aquarium is perfect for wedding receptions, birthday parties, corporate dinners, meetings, presentations and networking events. The venue works for smaller parties of 50 up to 750.


Located on the second floor the Handley Page Room is both light and elegant having the added benefit of west facing views overlooking Hyde Park. The room is adaptable for a range of corporate events whether receptions, meetings, presentations, AGMs and more. For those who wish a separate area for registration, catering or pre-lunch drinks, the Handley Page Room with the additional use of the Sopwith Room provides the perfect combination.


The Long Room is a world-famous sight at Lord’s – international cricket players pass through it on their way onto and off the field of play. A magnificent backdrop for elegant Christmas parties and private dining, it has high, ornate ceilings and is fronted by glass. Will I be able to bring my own catering to the pub?

A lot of pubs offer fantastic in-house catering, however, if you are looking to bring your own, you will need to check if it's OK with the pub.


Can I bring my music on a playlist when hiring a private room at a pub?

If you have a private room at a bar or pub, the venue will usually be able to play from your chosen songs on a music platform such as Spotify, or from an aux cable. Always check with the venue if it's OK.


How much does it cost to hire a bar or pub in London?

Most pubs and bars will operate via a minimum spend. This means the venue is asking you and your guests to commit to spending a certain amount with them throughout your event. This will vary venue to venue and by night of the week.


What does it mean when a venue offer me a semi-private room?

A semi-private room is usually a roped or sectioned off area inside a larger space in a bar or pub. You will not have physical walls on all sides separating you from the public, or other bookers.


Am I allowed to play my own music in the pub?

If you have your own private room you will most likely be able to play your own music or have a DJ / band etc. If you have a semi-private area you may not be able to play your own music due to other customers also using the space.


How much does it cost to hire a room in a bar/pub?

It depends on the venue and the time of year and also whether you are wanting your own private room or semi-private. Some venues may only charge a small fee but some may charge more, its normally done on a minimum spend which you use on food and drink.
