The Rocket Room is ideal for meetings, workshops, and small conferences, or can even be used for a private dining experience. This room can seat 16 people.
The Great Hall lies in the centre of One Moorgate Place and is the largest event space in the venue accommodating up to 400 guests. Being a blank canvas, this space is perfect for business related events such as conferences, seminars, guest lectures, press related activity and presentations. The three large screens, stage and podium provide the perfect platform to showcase and present to an audience. The room can cater for a number of different set-ups including theatre, classroom and round tables depending on the need for your event.
Seating a maximum of 200 for a conference, this is one of the most spectacular and delightful rooms in London. The glass domed roof allows daylight to illuminate the celebrated paintings, which include The Progress of Human Knowledge, by James Barry. The room is air-conditioned and can be completely blacked out for presentations. The state-of-the art audio-visual facilities include an HD projector for both data and professional format video projection.
The private dining rooms situated on level 38 of the iconic Gherkin building offer unforgettable views of the London skyline. Designed with flexibility in mind, whole floor bookings allow for large gatherings of up to 130 guests. Events at The Gherkin are lavishly catered for with bespoke breakfast, lunch and dinner menus that bring to life Searcys' passion for British produce and seasonality. The Tavern Meeting Rooms are on the second tier of the Tavern Stand, with magnificent views of the pitch from the balcony. On match days, these ten rooms are the private boxes from which celebrity guests can sip champagne and view the game. Throughout the rest of the year, they are an outstanding space for syndicate rooms or for smaller meetings.
The Lower Sugar Room is often used as a reception area, the upper Sugar Room as the main meeting space. Both can be used as separate breakout spaces for larger events, or together as a more flowing event space for networking. The Sugar Rooms were where the sugar brewing used to be stored. There is plenty of natural daylight in these room through elegant feature Georgian windows that overlook the courtyard. The rooms can host up to 100 guests for a standing reception. There is solid oak flooring in both rooms and beautiful exposed wooden beams in the upper Sugar Room.
Located on the second floor the Sopwith Room has great natural light through bow windows. Ideal for a range of corporate events such as birthday parties and receptions. For those who wish a separate area for registration, catering or pre-lunch drinks, the Sopwith Room with the additional use of the Handley Page Room provides the perfect combination.
