Make an impact in this historic hall, built as a 'cathedral to learning'. This grade II-listed red brick hall was built in 1900, and has welcomed thousands of students for graduation ceremonies across the decades. Now it inspires delegates and visitors alike as on of the University's accredited Venues of Excellence, with a trompe l'oeil domed ceiling above its formal marble entrance, and a noteworthy sense of space.

The custom-built Elgar Concert Hall, located inside the Bramall Music Building, can host up to 420 people theatre style, making it perfect for hosting concerts, corporate events or award ceremonies. Not only is it equipped with the newest audiovisual system, this versatile music auditorium even has a movable stage that allows it to transform to host an entire orchestra or just a single soloist.

The Centaur is our biggest and best asset for indoor business functions. Offering 2,600m2 of flexible space, this distinctive facility provides the biggest event space in the local region giving organisers accessible, flexible and versatile options.

This space is ideal for conferences, meetings, presentations, and is flexible to fit your needs. The space can be divided into two or three smaller rooms if needed. The Media Centre offers state of the art facilities in a unique venue.

IET Birmingham: Austin Court Birmingham City Centre

Located on the floor above our reception, at IET: Austin Court is our Brindley Room. This cosy space may be small but provides a peaceful ambience and in-built technology to allow for stress-less and productive meetings and presentations. Great for interviews or boardroom discussions, The Brindley Room looks out across our landscaped garden and allows plenty of natural light into the room.

The Jasper Carrott is the only suite that boasts panoramic views of both the pitch and the city. The magnificent views, modern decor and open plan layout provides the suite with a wonderful atmosphere and an inspirational setting for your event. The suite has great versitility and with its own pricate bar and the option for a dance floor to be set up at no extra charge, makes it highly popular for weddings and parties. Additionally, the suite is licensed to hold civil ceremonies.

The Fazeley Room is a Birmingham conference venue that can hold 225 delegates. The space is a large blank canvas that allows businesses, working in collaboration with our events team, to put their own unique stamp on it! A projector, screen, and PA system are available.
