The custom-built Elgar Concert Hall, located inside the Bramall Music Building, can host up to 420 people theatre style, making it perfect for hosting concerts, corporate events or award ceremonies. Not only is it equipped with the newest audiovisual system, this versatile music auditorium even has a movable stage that allows it to transform to host an entire orchestra or just a single soloist.


The University's late-Victorian red-brick building, The Aston Webb, is home to The Great Hall. Its grand entrance lures you into a lavish marble foyer. Here, you'll be greeted with a glass of champagne and take in the grand rotunda and domed ceiling of the foyer, which is decorated with a trompe l’oeil painting. After enjoying the view and the atmosphere, you can dine and wine inside the grand hall covered with beautiful stained glass. If you want to make an impression with your guests, this is the perfect venue to host any type of event.

Canalside Birmingham

We can offer private dinners for up to 250 people, or dinner dances & award ceremonies for up to 200. Canalside is a stunning venue for your next event, complete with its own private bar and waterway location situated in the fashionable Mailbox district.


Product launches, birthday parties, and award ceremonies are often staged/hosted at the Fazeley Room. We are also able to get cars into the space via our vehicle access, which has been utilised by the likes of Honda for exclusive car launches.


Civic Catering is a professional caterer, hosting a wide range of events including; conferences, drinks receptions, canapé receptions, dinners, awards ceremonies, meetings, product launches, luncheons and dinners. The grandeur and beauty of this venue will impress your guests. You will have a dedicated Event Co-ordinator that will assist you with the pre-planning of your event and experienced manager to ensure a professional and smooth running of your event on the day.


The Bramall Music Building is home to the custom-built Elgar Concert Hall, which can house 420 people. This impressive music auditorium is built to host a wide range of performances: the movable stage allows it to seat an entire orchestra and choir, or conversely, just a single soloist. A lift is available to help you hoist anything from the drive-in loading bay onto the stage, even a car! Packed with the newest audiovisual systems, this is the perfect venue for your own awards ceremonies, exhibitions and conferences.


The O2 Academy Birmingham main auditorium (capacity 3009) with seated balcony, is suitable for awards ceremonies, exhibitions, product launches, corporate conferences and Christmas parties guaranteed to impress any client. With two additional smaller rooms (capacity 600 & 250) All rooms are unique, feature state of the art production, with outstanding facilities and can operate independently, or simultaneously. With onsite catering facilities, staging, AV/Technical equipment and event management support we can offer a unique experience to suit any event.


The O2 Institute Birmingham main auditorium (capacity 2000) with seated balcony, is suitable for awards ceremonies, exhibitions, product launches, corporate conferences and Christmas parties guaranteed to impress any client. With two additional smaller rooms (capacity 600 & 300) All rooms are unique, feature state of the art production, with outstanding facilities and can operate independently, or simultaneously. With onsite catering facilities, staging, AV/Technical equipment and event management support we can offer a unique experience to suit any event.
