The O2 Academy Oxford main venue downstairs (capacity 1050) with alternative configurations, can be fully seated suitable for awards ceremonies, exhibitions, product launches, corporate conferences and Christmas parties guaranteed to impress any client. With a secondary area upstairs in the building (capacity 436) designed to function flexibly as a stand alone, production complete venue, it also provides a second room for events. O2 Academy Oxford was launched by AMG in September 2007. The site of the much respected former Zodiac on Cowley Road was developed over four months to create three separate, flexible performance spaces for live music and club events with a total building capacity of 1,350. Designed to the highest specification, O2 Academy Oxford attracts a strong calibre of international touring artists due to its larger capacity in the City and technical capabilities. Club nights are a focal point of entertainment with regular events from homegrown and national promoters.
