Situated below the main hall is the undercroft. Once the drinking den of James I, this space provides a change of atmosphere and modernity to the floor above. It's warm lighting and interesting alcoves make it a romantic setting for a wedding ceremony or wedding reception. It can host up to 150 for a civil ceremony, up to 380 fora drinks, 120 to dine or 250 for an after party. The atmosphere can be adapted with floristry and lighting to reflect the couples taste or to change the mood for the evening.
