The Calder Theatre Bookshop

Our gorgeous upstairs bar is available to hire for your next birthday party, work social or product launch. Located at street level on magical Lower Marsh, this space is fully accessible and only a short walk from Waterloo Station, making this an ideal central London location for your next event! This space has a large bar, a small stage for a DJ, speeches or performances, and includes use of the professional sound system, microphones, party lights, a projector and screen as well as a duty manager to help with tech support on the night!

Our multipurpose events space is licensed till 4a.m. at weekends and 1:30a.m. during the week. As well as being used by local and touring bands, the space has become highly regarded as a party space, due to the great sound system in place as well as the wooden floor which is perfect for dancing on. The bar is well stocked with ales, wines, spirits and cocktails and can be tweaked for events if requested.

Frameless is an events venue like no other - you have the entire 30,000 square foot venue to immerse your guests in art or customise the content in the main gallery to bring your brand or vision to life! With a capacity of 500 people, Frameless is the most unique and customisable venue in London - from private parties to celebrations with family and friends - speak to our Events Team to see how they can bring your event to life! Exclusive hire of the gallery is limited to a certain number of days per year and we would be happy to discuss this in more detail.

The meeting room is spacious, well lit and bright. Its perfect for the pop up shop, product presentation, cafe or event pop up restaurant . All the walls are white, of them is original character industrial brick wall with metal beam giving amazing atmosphere. There are chairs, tables and catering equipment available. There is also access to kitchenette if needed. Our friendly staff can assist with set up and even help to promote your event in our media.
