Space description
The Combustion Chamber (retaining the name of it's former function as the building's furnace hall when it was a power station) is the largest space available. Pillarless construction creates an unrestricted 425 sqm floor space with excellent sight lines, affording limitless potential for an event space. The Combustion Chamber also has direct access from our Courtyard which allows for smooth and easy access for load in/out.
The Combustion Chamber is available for part hires and whole building hires.

Retaining the features and character of an imposing industrial space, the building began life as a Victorian Power Station in 1896. Located in the heart of Shoreditch & a few minutes walk away from Old Street tube station, these multi-functional spaces are suitable for all types of productions & events. Bigger corporate hires are most welcome!
We are an unusual venue in that the building is also home to the National Centre for Circus Arts - a charity dedicated to supporting circus arts education & development. All revenue from commercial venue hire goes directly to the running of the centre.
