Located underneath the Globe theatre and on the banks of the River Thames, the Underglobe is a truly romantic hidden gem. The Underglobe has a museum exhibition dedicated to the the history and the rebuilding of the Globe theatre running along the mezzanine. the private mezzanine is perfect for arrival drinks, beautiful high ceilings, built in stage and advanced lighting and audio visual this space offers all you need for an impressive wedding venue. The Underglobe is catered for in-house by our expert kitchen team, however also available for dry hire for Kosher and Asian weddings.

Shakespeare’s Globe is a unique and inspiring place with a reputation for delicious food, immaculate service, imaginative design and spectacular production. Each event is carefully arranged by our dedicated team of event planners, mixologist, chefs, and designers. This theatre was rebuilt in 1997 to be a working museum to Shakespeare so that people could see the his works they way they were supposed to be watched.
